Although I was not involved in the premier issue of Glint Literary Journal, which was founded by students in Dr. Kim Kirkpatrick’s senior seminar at Fayetteville State University in 2010, I was asked to serve as advisor the following year and, eventually, assumed responsibility for organizing an editorial board and serving as managing editor once submissions overwhelmed the small staff.
I took over web design with issue 5 after teaching myself the rudiments of WordPress design. The following year, I became the owner/publisher. Since then, Glint has continued to publish annually with faculty, alumni, interns, former contributors, and outside readers volunteering to participate in the editorial board’s review of submissions. Dr. Sonya C. Brown continues to serve as my long-time assistant editor.
I was involved with the issues linked below. (The first issue can be accessed through Glint‘s archives.)
